Breeding and sales of pure breed poultry

 We are now available to offer talks/ advice on poultry keeping for garden clubs, fairs and schools!!

Our aims:

We believe that the red hen has served us well however there are so many pure breeds which are becoming endangered due to the little red hen. We aim to reintroduce these birds as eggs layers, and meat birds. People are discovering the joys of growing vegtables again so why not grow our own meat and eggs again. A chicken duck or goose will always taste better from your own back garden and their eggs will always be cheaper and tastier than shop bought. With very little effort you too can grow your own!

• We have a flock number. All our birds are traceable and registered with the Dept of Agriculture.
• We welcome inspections. Anyone or organization are welcome to inspect our farm/birds before purchasing.
• We have trained staff. We can offer advice on choosing the right breed and bird for you and your needs.
• Selection. We have a large variety of birds to choose from and our pure breeds are all hatched on site.
• Our values. We believe in what we do. We believe in the health and welfare of our birds. We believe in self-sufficiency and we believe in the pure breed, their qualities, their beauty and their value for money. They may take longer to raise but they will lay longer than any hybrid. They deserve a place in our garden!
